Sorry for the delay in pretty much all of my writing recently. The baby and I both caught a virus which had us down for the count for nearly a week. Then the following week was spent catching up. And now, this week has been quite draining due to my mothers care after her stroke as we are now on the search for a new long-term facility for her. Needless to say, writing has been the last thing on my mind.
Despite the craziness, I still managed to pull off some decent looks. I wish I had photographed more of them, but this is what I’ve got so I’m going with it. First up was my Dayton Paddle Wagon outfit. On top of this blog I’m a contributing writer with The Dayton Mom’s Blog. We tend to do a couple outings each month and this was one of them. The day ended up being warmer than expected, so I went back and forth on my outfit a couple times before kinda throwing in the towel and going with this one. However, by the end of it all I was happy with because it kept me cool in the beginning but was happy for the leg cover once it got dark. Plus, if we were going to be doing all things Dayton that evening, I had to wear one of my Dayton tanks from one of my favorite stores, Heart Mercantile located down in The Oregon District.

Next up is my outfit from LadyFest Dayton. My darling friend Stephanie Eliot read a poetry piece for the event, so I had to come out and support her and all the other lady-centric artist, musicians, and poets. She is such a light, and talent, and I’m happy to say you can check out her live piece right here, enjoy! I also had the privilege of meeting up with another local blogger, HoneyTeller, and got to know each other a little bit better. Pretty sure we’ll have some collabs coming up in the future, so be on the look out for those and go check out her blog!

Well that turned into a Target round-up real quick didn’t it. Ha!
Thankfully we’ve got some fun stuff planned this weekend, so I’ll have more outfits to share with you next week. I think going forward I’m going to make Wardrobe Round-Up a weekly, Friday update. Still working on getting things a bit more consistent around here, so bare with me folks.
Until next time….
